Zion National Park is located in the Southwestern United States, near Springdale, Utah. The park is known for its unique geography and variety of life zones that allow unusual plant and animal diversity. Zion National Park includes mountains, canyons, buttes, mesas, monoliths, rivers, slot canyons, and natural arches.
The different zones of the Zion National Park, deserts, riparian, woodland and coniferous forest are home to numerous plant species, varieties of floras and faunas. Zion Park has around 289 species of birds, nearly 75 species of mammals, and 32 species of reptiles.
