Chateau de Villandry is a castle-palace located in Villandry France is known for its beautiful gardens. The place is the hard work of Joachim Carvallo who purchased the property and spend his time, money and devotion to make the most beautiful garden. The garden include a water garden, ornamental flower gardens, and vegetable gardens. The gardens are laid out in formal patterns created with low box hedges. It also entered into the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Chateau de Villandry is open to the public and is one of the most visited chateaux in France.
