Scala dei Turchi is a rocky cliff on the coast of Realmonte, southern Sicily, Italy. It is famous due to the white color of the rock. This unique feature of the rock made the place a famous tourist destination. Scala is formed by marl, a sedimentary rock with a characteristic white color and lies between two sandy beaches. Scala dei Turchi is in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site.
